§ About

A small journal about marketing that performs.

ad-stack is a journal on performance marketing — media buying, creative strategy, ecommerce growth, and the tools that move them. We started it because we wanted somewhere to write down what we'd learned from spending too many evenings running campaigns and trying new platforms on our own briefs.

Most of what gets published about this field is press kits and demo reels. A lot has genuinely changed — a handful of tools now let a small team ship paid creative at a pace that used to need an agency — and there's not much writing that takes that seriously. The journal is our attempt at that writing.

How we work

Every tool we review goes through the same protocol: three reference briefs, the same target placements, the same twelve metrics. We pay for our own seats at the public plan tier and use the tools the way a real buyer would.

We don't take sponsored reviews. We don't run pay-to-play comparisons. If a vendor sponsors a section, we say so in the byline before the headline.

Got a tool we should look at?

We're always interested in trying something new — especially smaller platforms doing something specific really well. Send us a note at hello@ad-stack.ai with a short description and a public link. We can't promise coverage of every submission, but we read every one.

Being suggested has no bearing on the eventual verdict. Vendors who pay for their own seats are evaluated identically to the ones we sign up for on our own.

Who's behind it

A small editorial group with backgrounds in performance marketing, app growth, and creative production. We're based across Europe and the US, we run real budgets on real campaigns when we're not writing about other people's tools, and we'd rather be specific than diplomatic.

For corrections, factual updates, or to flag something we missed in a review, drop us a line at the address above. We'd rather fix it than have it sit wrong on the internet.
